Ebb Tide Oceanfront Inn Seaside, Seaside

I had mixed feelings about my stay at the Ebb Tide Oceanfront Inn. The location is fantastic, right on the promenade with beautiful ocean views, but the hotel shows signs of age and lack of upkeep. While the staff was friendly and the room clean, the overall experience was marred by some significant issues that left me hesitant to recommend it. If they invested in updating the facilities, it could be a gem.

The Ebb Tide was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! Our room had a breathtaking beach view, and the whole place was charming and cozy. The staff was incredibly efficient, quickly upgrading us to a better room upon arrival. Breakfast was satisfying, and there were great amenities like a pool and hot tub to unwind in. If I had to pick at something, the dining options were quite basic, but that didn’t overshadow our wonderful experience. Overall, a fantastic value for money!

I had a decent stay overall at the hotel, but there are definitely some ups and downs. On the plus side, the location is fantastic, right on the promenade with easy access to the beach. The staff was very helpful, especially when I struggled with my luggage. However, the rooms are quite dated and not as clean as I would have hoped, and I found the lack of an elevator quite inconvenient, especially when parking was an issue.

Although the coffee could use improvement, we enjoyed the peaceful ambiance and the friendly service was a big plus. However, there was some confusion regarding the pet deposit policy, which was a bit frustrating.
